Dan Don, formerly of Daggermouth has joined together with some other people, and released a demo under the name Elder Abuse. For all Daggermouth fans, this is a very good day in music.

Today’s song of the day comes from Aspirations. Aspirations consists of Stu McKillop of Daggermouth/In Bear Country and his girlfriend Kirsten. I know it’s not the most pop-punk thing you’ve ever heard, but I’m into Aspirations and this is my favourite song by them. So if you haven’t heard of this cool side project, check it out.

RIP Daggermouth. If you don’t listen to this band, start. Even though they broke up 3 1/2 years ago, if you like anything to do with hardcore or pop-punk, you will fall head-over-heels in love with Daggermouth.

Today’s song of the day comes from the now defunct Daggermouth. Forming in 2004, Daggermouth were some of the leaders into the pop-punk meets hardcore scene. I think it’s safe to say that anyone who’s ever heard of Daggermouth is still rooting for a reunion tour, even 4 years later. RIP, Daggermouth, RIP.
